UNR ACM's BLH 2026
Welcome to ACMS 2026 Hackathon. We are the Association for Computer Machinery Chapter here at UNR, and every year we host a annual hackathon to help student developers at our school gain more experience. Whether your in Enginnering, Computer Science, or History we encourage all UNR students to take part in this hackathon and level up their hacking skills.
Hackathon Basics
A hackathon is a short period of time where you get to build a project with a team and show it off to a panel of judges, ACM's hackathon is sponsored by Bently Nevada and Microsoft this year and building a project is a great way to get in touch with these companies.
Requirements
What to Build
The possibilities are endless! We recommend focusing on one of four main categories: App Development, Game Development, and two secret categories that will be revealed on launch day. However, you’re free to build any type of project you’d like—as long as it can be completed within the 40-hour timeframe.
🚀What to Submit
Please submit a working demo of your project along with a brief description explaining what you built, the problem it solves, and how it works. Include a link to your source code repository (e.g., GitHub), any relevant documentation, and a short demo video or screenshots showing your project in action. Be sure to clearly highlight the key features and technologies used 💻.
